Picture this:
Your ideal customers just woke up.
What’s the first thing they do?
They scroll through social media.
From sunrise to sunset, they’re glued to their screens, mindlessly flicking through their feeds.
Are you showing up in their feed?
If you’re not, you should be. Your market lives on social media, and if you’re not active, you’re invisible.
So, how do you ensure you don’t get lost in the noise?
Here’s a few tips:
1. Post Often
Posting once a week isn’t enough anymore. Not even close. In all honesty, it never was.
In today’s fast-paced social world, you need to be in your audience’s face every day.
Think about it—how often are you scrolling? Once a day? Twice? More? Probably more.
If you’re posting once a week, your content is getting lost in the shuffle. The algorithm loves activity. The more you post, the more likely your content will appear in front of your audience.
So, post more. Bare minimum, you should be posting DAILY. Even if it’s just a quick update, a behind-the-scenes sneak peek, or a simple joke that’s relevant to your audience.
2. Use Strong CTAs.
This is non-negotiable.
A post without a call to action is like a handshake with no follow-up. It’s polite, but it doesn’t lead anywhere.
You want your followers to engage with you. Ask them to like, comment, share,
or—best of all—click through to your website.
And don’t worry about coming off as annoying. Believe me, asking for the likes and comments will get you more results than not.
Get them to act. Don’t leave them hanging.
3. Provide Value.
What are you offering your customers that’s worth their time?
Value doesn’t just mean discounts or product info.
Your audience isn’t looking for another ad or sales pitch. They’re looking for information that helps them. Something that educates, entertains, or inspires them.
So, ask yourself: What can I provide that’s genuinely useful?
Maybe it’s industry insights, helpful tips, or a motivational post that resonates with
their daily challenges.
Give them value, and they’ll give you their attention.
Social media isn’t a "set it and forget it" kind of game (I sure wish it was, automating it would be waaaaay easier if it actually worked).
If you want to stay on top of your customers’ minds, you need to show up
consistently and provide real value.
